The year 2024 marked a remarkable milestone in laying the foundation for compliance and ethical management, as Namyang Dairy Products established standards and systems to promote compliance and ethical practices, fostering a culture of voluntary compliance.
As significant achievements, we began operating the Fair Trade Voluntary Compliance Program for the first time to establish fair trade order, announced high-intensity reform plans to strengthen compliance and ethical management, established a dedicated organization, and newly enacted and proclaimed a code of ethics and internal control standards requiring employees to reflect on the past and maintain thorough compliance awareness.
In addition, to enhance management transparency and reliability, we launched a Compliance Committee consisting of external experts from various fields of society and conducted various cultural diffusion activities such as Clean Company education and customized education by department.
For 2025, Namyang Dairy Products has established a compliance management vision of "becoming a company that leads in compliance and ethical management" and has set three primary goals: "building a comprehensive compliance management system," "establishing a fair trade order," and "creating a foundation for a culture of integrity."
We will implement various compliance systems and programs to drive these conscious, cultural, and institutional changes. As we have already declared both internally and externally, we will strictly apply a zero-tolerance policy to illegal and unethical acts.
Moreover, as the first step in our leap forward, we have established and begun operating a whistleblowing system through a shareholder hotline for the fair and transparent handling of reports, and we encourage your active use.
